Our Team

Andy Nash

Founding Director

Andy is the founding director and sole owner of the company. He is an ICAEW ACA qualified accountant with years of experience in the third sector, including Head of Finance, Operations and Management roles for charities such as Leuka, Lessons for Life Foundation and Christian Aid. He also holds a postgraduate certificate in conflict and development.

His expertise have been recognised multiple times, including as a finalist in the Business Finance Awards 2016 and the only charity professional to be acknowledged in the Top 35 Under 35 category in the Financial Director Magazine's annual list.

Andy’s dedication to the sector has shown in his voluntary work as a treasurer of the Roma Support Group for 7 years, as well as a treasurer of a community centre which progressed towards a large capital renovation project. Outside of work his passions include walking and spending time with his wife and two children.

Susie Fairbrother

Accounts Assistant

Susie.jpg

Susie is our Accounts Assistant and has been with us since October 2017. She is based in Hertfordshire and supports a small portfolio of our day to day clients. She initially studied drama at London International School of Performing Arts.

Having trained as a bookkeeper and completing AAT accounting at level 3 she worked for several charities before beginning work with Andy Nash Accounting & Consultancy, initially on a fixed term contract and now as a permanent member of our team.

She is now continuing her studies, with the support of Andy Nash Accounting & Consultancy, to complete her CFAB qualification with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Emma Rose
Accounts Assistant

Emma is a Physical Geography graduate with a passion for working within the third sector after volunteering with her local Community radio station. Over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, she successfully retained grant funding and had taken responsibility of the not-for-profit’s finances, later becoming a Director and Treasurer.

Emma is excited to continue to work with charities and not-for-profit organisations whilst training towards the ACA qualification with Andy Nash Accounting & Consultancy Ltd.

Outside work, Emma enjoys swimming and going for walks along the gorgeous Barry coastline – even more so when seagulls aren’t trying to steal her fish and chips!

Laura Hathaway
PA to Director/ Administrative Assistant

AN ICON.png

Laura joined the team in May 2020. After having her second child, Laura wanted a role that she would be able to fit around her family. With a variety of work experiences behind her, Laura is always driven back to administration.

Bringing her love for organising and colour coding to the office, Laura is hoping to organise not only the office, but Andy’s diary too.

Laura has two young children who take up most of her time. Laura enjoys being outdoors, going on long walks with her dogs, retail shopping and traveling.

Jonny Mattimoe

Freelance Finance Consultant

Based in Cologne, Jonny is a freelance finance consultant specialising in supporting small to medium sized organisations in the not-for-profit sector, and is part-qualified ACCA.

He first had the pleasure of meeting Andy during their time at Lessons for Life Foundation where he worked as a Finance Analyst, under Andy as Head of Finance & Operations.

Jonny shares the same values as Andy. They are both passionate about international development and the wider sector, although when they meet up they are just as likely to chat about the RBS Six Nations, or their mutual distrust of monkeys – ask them about this next time you speak to them! Outside of this Jonny enjoys being as active as possible cycling whenever and wherever he can, and (insanely according to Andy) completing the London Marathon in 2016.
